Program Description:
Hello study-abroad-er and scholarship applicant! 
This version of the scholarship application is being phased out. Beginning with Spring 2024, all Rinker Center scholarship applications will be embedded in your regular study abroad application on this portal. If you are have already completed a scholarship application here, don't worry-- we received it!-- we just aren't taking any more new applications here. If you have questions or need help, please email studyabroad@bsu.edu or call 765.285.5422.



The Rinker Center for Global Affairs is committed to helping Ball State students make their experiences abroad affordable. The Study Abroad Office encourages all students to apply through our streamlined scholarship process. Students completing this single application will be eligible for as many as 13+ types of scholarships which generally range from $1,000 to $3,000. Please see the list of scholarships HERE for eligibility information.  

APPLICATION DEADLINES

For summer, fall semester, and full-year programs – March 1
For winter break, spring break, and spring semester programs – Oct. 1

Upon completion of their study abroad program, all scholarship recipients are requested to provide a letter of appreciation to the Ball State University Study Abroad Office indicating how the award benefited their participation in their study abroad program to share with their award donors.
