Program Description:
Paris Munich Cuisine and CultureKIIS Paris-Munich Winter Break Program

The KIIS Paris-Munich program is an eleven-day program that begins in one of the most vibrant German cities, Munich, and ends in the City of Lights, Paris.

Students spend the first five days in downtown Munich near most of its famous attractions including the Viktualienmarkt. Students will have the opportunity to explore local bakeries, eateries, and an authentic Gasthaus while in the capital of Bavaria. The second part of the program will see students make their way to Paris, France. There, students will explore some of the popular markets, cafes and other memorable places including the Marche International de Rungis. In Paris, students will stay in the 14th "arrondissement," an area still full of locals that will give students a more immersed experience. Culinary places in both countries will allow students to see how they are an integral part of German and French society.

Courses are designed to integrate classroom learning with cultural excursions to diverse and authentic culinary places.

Please note: No German or French is required for this program since all instruction will be in English. Students with some German and/or French fluency will be able to improve their speaking skills as well as their knowledge of German and French culture through interactions with the locals and exploration of diverse areas of these two stunning cities.
