Attend Study Abroad 101 Advising
Sign up to attend Study Abroad 101, the first step toward study abroad. This group advising session provides an overview of the program types and next steps. Check our upcoming times and dates.

Selecting a Program
The Ball State Study Abroad Office offers five major program types. Each program listed among our portfolio is categorized as one of these five types. Each type has very different implications with regard to cost, credit transfer, on-site coordination, and so forth. Please familiarize yourself with these five types before choosing a program.

Program Search
On our program search page, you will be able to find programs by academic subject, semester, program type or country. There is even a map search feature. You can create your own advising application and save different programs to your profile by clicking on the “Start Now” button from any program page.

Program Deadlines
Have you found a program that fits your goals and needs and want to participate in it? If so, make sure to check out the campus application deadlines first.

Ready to Apply?
When you have selected a program, simply login to your advising application to complete the Pre-Application. An advisor will contact you with instructions for the next steps and program contacts.
